Python Community Server (development progress)
A weblog about programming in Python, C#, Java, Perl and C++ - and the occasional comment on PyCS development

Tuesday, 30 April 2002

After far too much messing around with DNS records, most of the PyCS sites now have proper names, and redirects are in place.  This is to make sure the site (and my PageRank) doesn't disappear off the face of the earth if I move the site off my DSL connection.

This blog should now appear at http://www.pycs.net/devlog/, and the 'notes' blog is at http://www.pycs.net/notes/.

Here's how to do it yourself

Update: The method described in the above link didn't go as well as I expected; it requires a bit of support from PyCS that isn't there.  Don't completely trust it :)
