Personal Heros

In my college Management and Leadership class we were assigned to write a paper on a leader. This paper required pointing out how this leader used the leadership skills we learned in class and attributes outside our curriculum.

I chose Fred Rogers, host of "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood."  I simply wanted to be unique.  I found a personal hero.  I'll write more on this later (when I find that paper.) Our cat was named Daniel Striped Tiger by the previous owner, but that's part of the attachment to our new plain kitten.

USA Today wrote "When production ended, many stars would have grudgingly posed for pictures with the staff. Rogers brought a disposable camera so he could take pictures of them." The article ends on Rogers' statement: "Life is for service."

Paul Everrit of EuroZope also has a interesting interview on OSS CMS's.
I've also enjoyed articles there by Dan Shafer.
