Rewards at the end of the game

Last night I finished playing Gladius on the PS2. I wound up using a cheat code on the last few battles because only the heros of the game were eligeble to fight in a few of the last battles. (I had been relying on recruits for a lot of the battles up to that point)

At any rate, I was pretty dissapointed by the ending. The final movie cutscene itself wasn't bad, but it left so much hanging. And not in a typical "oh, there's going to be a sequel, so don't wrap it up too much!" kind of way. More like there were loose threads (from cutscenes and conversations earlier in the game) that were left hanging. Plus there was a ton of stuff that just plain wasn't explained (where'd that preistess go? Why if the heros died in combat did they magically get resurected for the next battle? Will Urlan ever get a hair cut?)

After the movie ended the credit began to roll. I asked myself "Is this the big reward for playing the game? Getting to watch the credits roll by on a black screen?" Then it occured to me, if you wanted to know who to send emails to when you feel like complaining about the end of the game, the credits might well be a reward. :)
