I must say, A9.com is very impressive. Its a search engine that Amazon.com is behind. It is very slick, I think it really gives Google a run for its money. But it is tied really closely to Amazon's customer database (i.e. you log in with your amazon.com userid and it will "remember" you). I imagine that will freak the tinfoil-hat brigades to no end.
But this is the future of AI I think. Computers/websites/machines that recognize who you are, remember what you like/hate/bought/sold/adjusted last time it dealt with you... Its gonna be everywhere someday. Soon your coffee maker and refrigerator will hold conversations with each other talking about how much milk you have and if it will be enough for tomorrow's coffee....
