A view from the top of the Bench Canyon-Long Creek divide: we get a closer look at Long Mountain and the most challenging ridge of the trip, and we see Rockbound Lake and (barely) one of the lakes a bit higher up the basin (to the right).

Our route climbs gently up to the right, then veers left and climbs until it gains the ridge that extends straight towards this vantage point. Then, up the ridge until just a bit under the part where it gets suddenly very steep, and traverse to the left until gaining the main ridge that separates this basin from the Granite Creek drainage, where Sadler Lake and the Isberg Trail are located.
