Mac OS X and Linux Java developers may benefit from a visit to this lacrosse team's web site. So what does lacrosse have to do with Java? Could if have something to do with the members of this team; Rooster Cogburn, Wyatt Earp, and Bill Bonney are just three of the stellar performers? Probably not.

After a little more investigation, the common factor appears to be zCFac, from Eden Systems, LLC. zCFac generates java, SQL, and documentation for managing "flat" objects in web applications. It also provides for display, editing, and complex searches.

Eclipse users, that script in Perl, may be interested in learning more about EPIC. EPIC is a SourceForge project which is developing plug-ins for the Eclipse IDE. Currently, a Perl Editor Plugin, Perl Debugger Plugin, and RegExp Plugin are in the works.

The Eclipse project is seeing contributions from the whole web development community. This continued ground-swell of innovation will allow us all to reap the benefits.
