Politeness

I just received an e-mail from Hossein Sharifi, the guy behind RateYourMusic and YACCS, saying that he is testing a new YACCS feature to allow per-thread comment RSS feeds.  Noticing that PyCS has had them for ages, he asked for my permission to use the idea on his server.

Now that is what I call politeness.  I don't know if this level of politeness is just the norm in the weblog developer community, but it's really nice to get this level of respect from people.

A public note: It's fine for anyone to copy any good ideas in PyCS (if you can find any!); post me a note to say what you've done and I'll link back to you about it.

Not that PyCS is that original an idea anyway ... ;-)
