Source over the .NET, will things improve?

I read the following from Robert McLaws: FunWithCoding.NET:

Visual Studio Tools for Office (Codename "Trinity") is now slipstreamed into VS2005. I'm assuming that means that you will no longer have to shell out 150 clams for it as an add-on. Also of note is the new SourceSafe bits. SourceSafe now works over HTTP, which I believe is using ASP.NET and IIS. I haven't tried it out yet, but at some point I will do a point-by-point comparison with Vault, which I just installed on my servers last week.

Well, I know for sure I will follow the MSDN Webcast: Source Control and Team Development Using Visual Studio .NET and Visual SourceSafe – Level 200 with full interest next friday.

We'll be snookering you tonight (well starting next Saturday)

As a billiards fan, I also like to watch the performance on the largest table of all, the snooker table.

Starting next saturday, the BBC will cover the World Championship Snooker over a period of 10 days.

If I would have to predict a winner I would go for Paul Hunter, but who knows. The list of this Seasons Tournament Winners got bigger every week, with the 'Wirlwind' Jimmy White as the latest addition. Well, I guess the bookmakers will make some money the next week and a half.

And as a Billiards player knows, you can get snookered with just 3 balls on the table. <s>

Where was the time we had a date?

Brat Adams answered a question about DateTime, Serialization and TimeZones

For me it seems that .NET 2.0 will have another thing that was 'invented' a long time ago, a date only datatype. Well, the next thing is an empty date(time) and we are back to square one. <s>
