Ubuntu Desktop: New Mexico horizon |
John Knudson posted New Mexico horizon that makes a wonderful background in my vanilla (er, chocolate) Ubuntu setup.
I'm pleased that my Meta+d key (Start/Windows Key+d) minimizes or restores my desktop. I'm using a Microsoft Comfort Key keyboard with a plain HID interface. The calc, mail, and volume controls work. The Search, and Web home, back and forward keys do not. |

PyDS off-line note to self, ether |

I'm a dial-up user, who regularly goes off-line to check voice mail.
I've noticed that PyDS needs a restart after I've gone off-line.
