What in the world does Microsoft's Empower Program for ISVs have to do with Java? I just got the latest issue of Java Developer's Journal and there is an ad for Microsoft's program. Is there room on the a Java Developer's workstation for Microsoft's development tools? How is this extending the reach of Java? How is this helping the Java community? Anybody care to enlighten me?
I have to admit, this one has me wondering.

via Micromata Technology: "Schrödinger contains all programming advantages of Java and Tomcat but is easier to learn and to use. A sometimes difficult server configuration is dropped and makes space for creating, developing and designing web applications. Community edition of Schrödinger is full functional and it is freeware."
Mac OS X Java developers and web designers using JSP and Tomcat in their projects will welcome this resource.
