I received a really confusing support question regarding SSHPassKey this morning. It mentioned a tool called Vapor that I had never heard of.

So, I downloaded Vapor and discovered that SSHPassKey ships as a disk image on the Vapor disk image.

That's cool -- that was why I wrote SSHPassKey in the first place.

Vapor itself is incredibly useful! Vapor provides a tunnel between your machine and some remote box such that you can securely mount AppleShare, remotely administer OS X Server boxes, interact with a web server or otherwise securely communicate to some random port.

It just works -- and it just works really well!

Like SSHPassKey, Vapor is free!

Neat hack. Now a standard part of my toolbox!
