New DiskImage Available v161

There is a new DiskImage for SCPlugin (v161) available now. You can either grab it from my iDisk's Public Folder (pavicich) or from here.

We are pretty rapidly approaching our first release. JP an I decided that we should break the release schedule up like this:

  • Beta 1: All version 1.0 subversion commands that will be supported will be implemented by this milestone.
  • Beta 2: All version 1.0 CVS commands that will be supported will be implemented by this milestone.
  • Beta 3: If necessary to resolve any critial defects.
  • Release 1.0: We are hoping to have v1.0 available by WWDC.

We have pared back the feature set of the v1.0 release. We will be supporting most of the commonly used SVN and SVN commands via the plugin. It is highly unlikely that the Finder icon badging will see the light of day. The problem is not in the code that we are writing (we hope), but in the Finder itself. For some reason, it does not seem to notice (within an acceptable delay) that a File's resource fork has been modified.

I encourage everyone using the code to grab this latest DMG, or to build from the latest source. I would also like to encourage folks using the plugin to send us feedback.

If users are interested in seeing what we are working on / how we are progressing, they should check out the Issue Tracker at SCPlugin.tigris.org.
