Plone 1.0+

Plone, the nifty pointy-clicky content and what-not management skin for Zope's Content Management Framework was released a few weeks ago.  ZWiki doesn't work well with it yet, but now that Plone hit the 1.0 release product integration will get more focus.  CMFWiki is available and just might tide one over.

Today I noticed and confirmed that the OS X version has been updated! :-)

Note: For some dumb reason my old content garnered numerous search engine hits for the phrase "Plone Sukcs."  I have yet to review Plone.

The Onion

The Onion is usually picked up in print when passing through Border's in Madison.

Today I don't notice anything funny to post.  I wonder how far reaching the Onion Radio News is.

If you didn't notice, this is a test post.  I would like to categorize my content, but also publish it all via the Home Page.  Please tell me if this gets too annoying on the Recent Updates page.

New Angle for Python and DotNet

First there was the proof of concept writing a Python to DotNet common language run-time. Succesful, but slow. [link]

There has yet to be a Python interpreter written in C#, just as there is in Jython with Java.  This succesful endeavor is a few point releases behind the current C-Python version.

Now there are two experimental versions for getting at DotNet more directly than Win32all.  The first is a Python wrapper for DotNet [classes], KOBRA.  The second takes you to importing a DotNet namespace : PythonNet.  More details if I find or see a nifty use for them.

(DotNet, dotnet, .Net, ?? I'll go the WikiWay [link].)
