A quote from an article about AOL identity theft and a stupid law suit that resulted:

Sarah Granger, a San Francisco-based security consultant, said service providers could do more to prevent identity theft.

"One would think that [America Online] could create some sort of capability within their software for users to see what's in their e-mail before they open it.

Huh? I don't understand. What does that sentence mean? The more I think about it, the less it makes sense to me. Or maybe not-- maybe she is referring to the certain mail readers that happily download anything from net merely by including an URL to it?
